The Kimball Wind Project is located in Kimball County, Nebraska, constructed on private and municipally-owned agricultural land. It has a generation capacity of 30 MW, consisting of 12 GE 2.5 – 116 (2.5 MW) wind turbines manufactured by General Electric. It supplies electricity under a power purchase agreement with the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska (MEAN).
